Base recipe:

1 C whole milk

1 C heavy cream

4 TB maple syrup – add more if you like it sweeter


French Vanilla: 1 vanilla bean or 1TB vanilla extract

Cinnamon Vanilla:  1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 2 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp almond extract

Chocolate Almond: 2 TB cocoa powder, 1 tsp almond extract

Pumpkin Spice: 3 TB pureed pumpkin, 1 tsp pumpkin spice, 1 tsp vanilla extract

Peppermint Mocha: 3 TB cocoa powder, 1 tsp peppermint extract

Whisk together all ingredients (except extracts) in medium saucepan over medium heat. when it begins to steam remove from heat, add extracts.  Pour in glass container, let cool, store in fridge up to 10 days.

*optional, strain to remove powders, etc if they bother you.
