2 – 8oz blocks of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 – 16 oz jar of salsa (I prefer the ChiChi’s Medium Thick & Chunky)
1 bag of shredded lettuce (or you can shred your own – I’m lazy and buy bagged)
1 tomato (dice it up)
1 bag shredded Mexican cheese

Put the cream cheese and salsa into a large mixing bowl. Use an electric hand mixer to mix it up until smooth. Pour into a square baking dish (what is that size – 9×9?). Sprinkle a light layer of the cheese over top. Sprinkle a layer of shredded lettuce on top of that. Add diced tomato on top of that. Finish with another light layer of shredded cheese.

The toppings (cheese, lettuce, and tomato) are really more for looks than anything else, so use as much or as little as you would like. I find the layer of cheese under the layer of lettuce helps the lettuce not get soggy so quickly.

Eat with chips of your choice (We use Scoops all the time). It seriously takes all of 10 minutes to make, and it’s DELICIOUS! You can even make the cream cheese and salsa mixture the night before, put it in the baking dish in the fridge overnight, and then just add the toppings before you head to the party. It just thickens it up a little when you do that, which is fabulous, too!

For parties, I usually double the recipe and just buy one of those rectangular throw away baking trays to put it in.
