1 lb of ground beef
Green peppers, Red Peppers (about 1/2 cup of each)
Onions 1/2 cup
Spices (really anything thing that’s good on ground beef)
2 cloves of crushed garlic
1 jar of Tomato Sauce
1 can of Tomato Paste
8 medium Potatoes
1 cup of Cheese
Package of Cannelloni noodles (oven ready works the best)

Cook the potatoes and then mash them. Add the cheese.

In a frying pan fry up the ground beef, then add spices, green peppers, onions and a jar of tomatoes sauce (leave a little for the bottom of the pan)Turn down and let simmer

In a casserole dish pour enough sauce to cover the bottom of the pan. Stuff the noodles with the potatoes and a line in the dish. Only do one layer. Pour the sauce and meat mixture over top.

Bake in oven for 45 mins at 375 cover for first 30 mins with tin foil then remove for the last 15.

They taste so good, best to serve with garlic bread and a salad.


To Freeze it, I use tin foil trays and place a layer of saran wrap then a layer of tin foil. Pull out at least 30 mins before placing in the oven, if middle still frozen might take extra cooking time

I love this dish… Onions, garlic and peppers are optional but gives the dish flavour!
